  3. Loading Instructions.

  5. Re-boot and insert the SCORPION disk in DF0:
  6. Use Kickstart (any version) if necessary.
  7.  
  8. IMPORTANT:  Please ensure that the disk is ALWAYS write-protected as any
  9.             Virus (or Virus killers) will destroy the game.
  10.  
  11. Controls.
  12.  
  13. Use joystick in port 2.
  14.  
  15. Left                      Walk Left
  16. Right                     Believe it or not, walk Right
  17. Down                      Crouch
  18. Left & Down               Crawl Left
  19. Right & Down              Any guesses?
  20. Up                        Jump
  21. Left & Up                 Jump Left
  22. Right & Up                No prizes for this one!
  23.  
  24. Pressing Fire will cause a bolt of energy to shoot from your fingertips.
  25. If you hold Fire down and push up you will do a 'big jump' but only if
  26. you have picked a certain something up!
  27.  
  28. SPACE                     Pause Game
  29. ESC                       Quit Game

  31. Hints on Playing the Game.
  32.  
  33. Whatever you do don't go swimming, the water seems to be pretty polluted.
  34. Not at all good for your health.
  35.  
  36. Experiment with the Pick-ups as each has its own good and/or bad points.
  37.  
  38. Use 'big jump' to reach otherwise unobtainable heights and also to jump
  39. down from walkways to the ground below.
  40.  
  41. Avoid taking damage. Trying to walk through things is a costly way of
  42. killing them.
  43.  
  44. And remember: Practice makes perfect, almost!
